St. Clair County ranks low for infant, maternal well-being
The factors analyzed include the age of the mother, prenatal care, birth weight and whether the mother smoked while pregnant. By comparison, Sanilac County ranked 35th, Lapeer County came in at 31st and Macomb County led the region at 12th.
